Hannoush Jewelery replaced their 90 watt Par 38 lamps over the Diamond cases with CFLs (compact fluorescents). Even though they were saving some energy they sacrificed the color needed to make the diamonds “pop”. The CFLs cast a pasty white glow and weren’t very directional. Unfortunately the lifespan of the CFLs was not as long as it stated on the packaging so the manager still had to change them as often as the old incandescent lamps. Then they replaced them with the Infinilux P4 LED Cool White Par 38 lamps and all their problems were solved!  The savings were across the board including a reduction in energy, heat and maintenence. The P4 LED lamps offered a solution to all the problems and the diamonds sparkle brilliantly.   Since they are burning 7 days a week  at 12-14 hours a day their ROI return on investment was less than 1 year.
